I enjoy my privacy so i don't use any messengers, so I love how this doesn't apply to me.

I dont accept things from people unless I know what it is. If people shared the same intelligence, this thing wouldnt happen. Already like 20 people I know got it.

As I recall, it's the suffix of some kind of microsoft package filetype or something. I can't remember.

Also, if you're reading this post, you've been infected with a new virus type!

Weren't .pifs those files you needed in Windows 3.11 to make a Windows icon for a DOS program..?

Hard to remember. It has been almost 10 years since Win95 was released and things like that vanished. Maybe it has some new meaning nowadays.

Yes. PIF - program information file. Basically a "shortcut" in today's Windows environments.

I wish someone would send me one of these. Id get a real kick out of it. :D
And when the moment is right, I'm gonna fly a kite.

Yeah, one got sent to me. It struck me as suspicious considering I was sent to "away" the person sending it didn't respond to my request for an explaination as to why I was being sent a file called "drunk_lol" with a file type I didn't recognize.

A quick check on SARC about .pif files, and I alerted the person that they were viral! Then I severed all links with said person. They are dead to me now. :p

I had a disclaimer here, but the man said it was too long.

I got it, but I just killed my internet connection and then deleted it, seemed to be fixed after that.

Probably not the most affective way. But it worked.

Woah, a virus warning about MSN that isn't a "DON'T ADD XXXXXX@HOTMAIL.COM OR U DIE" message.
