In search of 3D Modelling Tutorials

I've been looking for some quality 3D modelling tutorials lately, and have not had much luck. What I'm basically looking to learn is low-polygon character modelling. If anyone could please point me in the direction of some nice tutorials, preferably Blender or GMax, it would be very appreciated. :)

http://www.elysiun.com/ This is an awesome blender site. They don't have many tutorials, but a huge portion of the blender community resides here.

They were actually the official blender forums for a bit, if memory serves.

You need to sign up, but there are really really well made 3DSMax (GMAX) video tutorials there. Plus a great community.
