That's awesome. He auctioned off a truck and bike that was signed by all his guests after 9/11 and got over $300,000 for it.

This makes me dislike E-Bay. Sure, Jay Leno can put his bike on and have people bid on it, but when Shawnee Smith tries to put her dining chairs on it, E-Bay cancels her auction. NO FAIR!

This is real and it is for charity.

I want his bike that has a turbine engine in it.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

1.) It's a Harley.

2.) It's Jay Leno.

3.) Charity.

4.) It has all those kick *** autographs on it.
I can't think of anything to put here right now.

Man, watching that slideshow. moore looks like he got kicked by the month-long mcdonald's diet - every month.

But onto the bike, do you think someone would ever ride it?

If they did, they should be shot.

I watched Nicolette (sp?) Sheridan sign that the other night. If only the bike came with the woman instead of the signature.

Probably not the rich person who buys it, unfortunately.

The autographs actually kind of turn me off. Especially when I saw that Michael Moore signed it.

You have to look past something like that since it's for a good cause. I think you can look past someone' political views in a case like this.

Hell if I had the money, I'd buy it. Not so much for the "good cause" (Sorry but I won't get into that) but just for the bike itself.

WAY too much money for that. I mean, maybe if it was signed by tons of A list actors/actresses, but c'mon, William Shatner, David Spade, and Steve Irwin? Apart from that, did anyone else notice how they didn't name Kevin Smith at the end of the slideshow?

Trige, you also know that if the guy keeps the receipt, THAT IS A CHARITY and he can use it next year when doing taxes?

Plus I'm sure it's got more actors than those people on it.

I know that Jay Leno or his people were sending the money that the bike brought in to charity, but the guy that bought it wasn't directly aiding the charity at all. He was just buying a bike, so I don't see how that's charitable. It seems he just spent $800k.

You don't know that. The people who bought the truck and bike after 9/11 bought it then toured with them to raise more money. The guy who bought his bike i probably going to be on the show. Might want to watch that before you make any judgements of him.

Does Jay Leno come free with the bike? Because he's in the picture.

I wonder. Depends on how it was done. Personally, I think you're right and he just purchased a bike for 800 grand and the tonight show will donate it all.

Did you see what else that guy had bought? I was expecting sports cars, original monets, and holiday villas. He bought a couple of cheap paintings, a neck tie, and a Star Wars duelling game.
