What the heck was Big??!! That thing scared me, it was like some sort of evil HOM virus. I don't know if it was a joke, or if it didn't work on my machine, but it was just odd. Doesn't Massassi test these things before submitting? It was a load of rubbish that made know sense. After a few seconds of HOM and this constant beeping, it booted me to my desktop!

Tis the way it was made. Check it in JED. It would serve good as a player kicker for the host, to kick everyone in a certain sector [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif]

You think we've checked all 2,792 files? Submissions are already bad enough that it gets to the point where it takes over 15 minutes to post a file. I used to be able to do them in about 3 minutes, for one file. Now, people are sending in e-mails left and right with a various combination of things...

1. Screenshots/Readme/No Level
2. Level/Readme/No Screenshots
3. No Readme/Level/Screenshots
4. ABSOLUTLEY NOTHING!!!!
5. The List Goes on and on and on...

It's a tiresome process. Now, I would post more files, but, my computer has been REALLY freakay, but I think I have it stable now (Motherboard crashes, reformattnig hard drives). It's a tedious job, and testing each and every single file as it comes in would make it unbearable.

If you have a problem with a level, make sure you're not the only one having the problem, then send a nice and pleasant e-mail to the staff asking to remove the file.

I bet you're anxious for Brian's level posting script.

...is he making one of those?

I really think a system like pcgamemods.com's file submition form should be implemented in some shape or form. Their system seems to be flawless for the most part.

I'm trying to get all the files up tonight. I didn't want to burn myself out all one night, but don't worry, they will be coming.

The hardest part is making sure I don't submit the same file twice. Lots of people double-submitted, or even triple, making it difficult. Plus, the levels that are 12MB+ will take a while, since the email system freaks out with larger files.

About uploading: Are you supposed to attach the readme and inlude it in the zip file? And what about the screenshots?

What did I ever do to you?

The Read-Me goes in the Zip-File. As for the screenshots, that's entirely up to you. I personally wouldn't include them in the Zip-File. All you need to do is send them to Massassi for them to upload to the server - why add unnecessasry file size to the zip by including screenshots people can just view online?
