I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Awesome picture

please invest in a UV filter. or a polarizer. cuts down on that haze like 80-95% and all you get is crisp photos. but since this is prolly digital, you're sol, ineless you buy the filters anyway and just hold them in front of the camera.

Are you referring to a Digital SLR? from the description it would seem you are, but i'd like to be sure. especially since Digtal/film combos, are a) really expensive, b) extremely complicated, and c) totally not worth the money.

as far as Digital SLR's are concerned, might i recommend the Nikon D70 or D100. they are both good digital cameras, reasonably priced for a digital SLR with interchangable lesnses, essentially the same in functionality as far as the most important parts. each has its own special charactaristic that makes it unique from the other, and the decision is really personal preferance.

personally, i would choose the D100, mostly because it actually looks like a real camera. the d70 is too close to being a pocket point and shoot for my taste. looks almost like a toy.

but then again, i would rather shoot film on my F100 than anything else. digital is too far behind as far as quality for me to consider spending all that money on digital equipment. sure digital can be convenient, especially for snapshots, but it just doesnt seem worth it to me yet.

for lower quality digital camera yes, but for some of those higher SLR? i believe theyre up to 14 megapixel on some of them. but those are waaaaay too expensive.

for most part i'm just wanting a digital version of that good ol 35 mm camera that my mom has, its an flim camera, main reason why i want to get a digital is so i can upload to the computer and select what i want to get printed at the print lab, and yeah i agree lower end digital camera aren't that great but some of the highest end are pretty sweet.

and i recently looked up nikon d100 and it looks like something that i want, that's what i'm talking bout something similar in idea to that. but in the end i might not be able to buy it price wise but its always an worthy goal to get one of em.
