I'm with Mikus. I don't understand what good it is. Unless it recognizes the people and places in pictures, I dunno why it is any better than what the computer user does when he saves his pictures in the first place.

Its kinda obvious that they are targetting the elderly and non-computer-literate. Anyone else would know how to organize and view their digital photos without the aid of some obnoxious program.
And when the moment is right, I'm gonna fly a kite.

Whoah, didn't see that. Strange that it would require IE. Then again, AIM does too.

Heh, I downloaded that, and forgot to specify where it searched for photos... it indexed my entire porn folder, a task that took over an hour.

Yes I do, but with all the files I have to deal with, I find that this is an easier way to view the files.
Especially since this program has the ability to search through images that you label.

You mean like... Start menu -> Search?
2005-01-30, 10:47 PM #15
No... I mean like you can label images like this:

If its a picture of your family, you can say "Family. (List names)"

And if I wanted to I could search for "family" and this program will pull up all of those photos.

Or you could label it like...
"Family (John, Mark, and Mary).jpeg"

Then you could search for "family" and it would come up or "john" etc...

Yes, thats one way to do it. However, I like to use meta tags instead because they make the pictures easier to organize.

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.
