My friend went to go see it, and he said it sucked hardcore. Pretty much all the reviews online say the samething, but I just can't help it, I wanna go see this movie cause it looks pretty cool.

So I'll do the smart thing, let Massassi decide!

My best friend saw it and said "Don't see it. I want 2 hours of my life back." And coming from my best friend, that means something. He likes any movie with action in it. This movie was horrible to him.
I can't think of anything to put here right now.

it's "based off the game" and from the preview looks like it was made by people who never knew there was a game before the movie was made

When I first heard about the movie, I thought it was based on the game, and I was interested. Then somebody here at Massassi told it's not based on the game at all, and all my interest was washed away. I doubt I will ever see this film.

From what I've seen from the trailer, it seemed to be 'Alone in the Dark' meets 'Aliens'. Or perhais 'Alone in the Dark vs. Aliens'.
The answer is maybe.

Poor Ben! How did he get dragged into that mess?! Now I haven't played Bloodrayne, but I hear it's about a sexy vampire lady killing nazis....so why does the movie take place in the Middle Ages?

It's probably that BloodRayne is a character like Buffy in that there always exists one or something. I don't really care that they chose to set it in the past. Otherwise it would look like a straight up ripoff of Blade.

YES!! The one funny commercial left on G4TV. I can't believed I actually watched that joke of a TV channel during Winter break. I must've been ridiculously bored.
