Hey, I was just wondering who all from Massassi was in track & field, and if so, what do they run/compete in? I compete in:

200 meter dash (favorite)
100 meter dash

and these are the ones I occasionally compete in:

400 meter dash, 4x100 meter dash, 4x400 meter dash.

Thanks guys, just something that crossed my mind

I run track and field. I'm training to be a decathalete so I pretty much know the basics of everything. But my main stuff is...

High Jump
110m Hurdles <3
300m Hurdles

I also have been known to compete in...

Long Jump
Triple Jump
Pole Vault
400m
4x400m

so yeah, fun stuff...

I remember playing a track and field video game. I found the whole concept quite ironic.

Yeah, how's this for odd? My parents haven't been the least bit interested in my love-life my entire life, and now that prom is soon my Dad all of a sudden seems concerned that if I don't find a date and go it will mean I'm a social failure.
I don't get it... I accepted that fact a long time ago, why is he just now realizing it?

I'm completely unfit, but I prefer long-distance to speed, because I suck at speed more than endurance. 1500m in 6 minutes, anyone?

A kid in my school currently has the top time in the nation for the 2 mile. He ran an 8:49 and beat a Kenyan. They have video of it at www.skizzim.com (Arcadia boys two mile). Its amazing...

That's.. impressive.

I did it last year, indoor track and Cross Country.

I prefered cross country, I think my best mile time was 6:19. (as a freshman in HS)

In Indoor Track I was forced to do the 2 mile, even though I wanted to do sprints... I don't remember my best 2 mile time. But I hated every minute of it. My coach was... insane.

*five feet of snow on the ground* *makes us come to practice, even though school's been closed for the past week* "Ok, boys and girls. Hill work today! I want you to run up and down this steep, icy hill for 25 minutes. Go."
*half the team falls down hill. We wait for him to tell us to stop, because 3 people sprained their ankles on the first trip down*

"What are you waiting for? Keep going!"

I hated that man with a passion.

110 meter hurdles, 300 meter hurdles, occasional pole vault and/or triple jump.

Rare 2400 or 3200 meter.
