As many of you know, Ruthervain has been working on an awesome Sg-1 mod for Jk, and a while back the temp teaser site of the offcial game was launched.

The full site is now online, content looks like it'll be added as the development progress, they have a few renders and stuff up and an FAQ, forums and other little goodies.

can't wait for Clans mod to hold me over for this game!

I thought this WAS JK for a minute. I looked at the character models and I was all "whoa," then I saw a screenshot of a room and I was like "huh?" Then I saw a screenshot of snow and a city in the background and I was all "ohhhh."


Anyway, it looks cool.

uumm, interesting, hadn't even heard they were developing a Stargate game...

looks good, as long as they can get the gameplay right they should be on to a winner...

the screenshots are quite sexy, but not overly impressed with the jaffa models.

Maybe I'm just bitter, but they could have done better

Are you sure this isnt your mod, Ruth? The texxes on that model look alot like something you would do... :p

I was hoping they might have used the source engine for the game, still unreal 2.5 should look good, but as good as source....?

From the sounds of the characters, we've got a range of baddies too, light Jaffa that don't wear much armour, medium who wear more armour and sometimes the morphing helmets and the eleites who wear the morphing helemt at all times, making headshots impossible.

the models look nice, the renders of the game so far look nice, they also said soemthing about co-op on the FAQ, Stargate co-op! that would rock hard.

I'm really dumb w/ sci-fi :/. Is Stargate that one movie where these marine like dudes cross over with a scientists into a portal into this large desert? And then this scientists's papers blew all over the place and there was this really furry camel, or was this another movie?

Yep, that's the one. Then it was made into a TV show, "Stargate SG-1", which is what this game is based on.

Interesting, the movie looked really good, i was watching a bit of it at Circuit City i think. I have to find time to watch it sometime this weekend.
