Whoa... I forgot all about it. The only good thing ever to come out of that day was a great movie with Bill Murray.

I've never gotten how this came around. If the groundhog sees his shadow (thus, the sun is out) there will be six more weeks of winter, whereas if the sun is not out so that the groundhog does not see his shadow, summer will come soon.

Logic, anyone?

The little bugger is scared of his shadow, and he runs back into his hole. Thus if he hides himself, it's because it's going to be cold outside.

I wanted winter to be over two weeks ago. You southerners have it easy. We have 6 months of winter to endure. :(
