The lion's share of ethnicities in which I possess would be German/Scandinavian. Grandma's maiden name on dad's side is "Peterson." She's REALLY into geneaology. Traced her family back to the 1600s. Their origins were..Norway. She has five, 3" binders all with histories on family names that were part of grandma's family. Neat stuff.

I remember when I was on holiday in Sardinia, I saw a Nordic kid, 12 or so, with white blonde hair, golden skin and piercing blue eyes... The most beautiful human being I have ever seen.

Pan-Baltic.

Finnish, Swedish, German (or actually whatever the mercenary's little burg/canton/state-thingie was called at that time when he settled in Finland after the 30 year war) , and Estonian.

Unsurprisingly as a result, I'm tall, lanky, have blue eyes and copper hair (though it used to be really blond).
If it breaks, you get to keep both pieces.

Most maps (on Google Image Search, anyway) include Iran as Middle-East, and a few feature the far western border of Pakistan on them, though methinks that doesn't qualify it as a Middle Eastern nation.
