That plane happened to crash in Pennsylvania... not to say downplay the horrific events of 9/11 or to poke fun at the death of those on board that flight, but that WAS the plane destined for the Capitol/White House, not exactly the FCC but in charge of it.

Yeah, I can still totally record something with my VCR.

People who already own the equipment are fine. This only prevents DRM-free cards to be made after July 1st, 2005. However, I don't know how long the card will continue to work with digital channels through the air.

I suppose it is in poor taste, considering that innocent people did die in these events, and people probobly have feelings for the people that died. But it does seem logical to wish that people behind DRM were killed, for whatever reason.
