Did this star suddenly excellerate out of the system? Am I the only person who is confused as to HOW this would happen?! I hope OUR sun doesn't just UP AND DECIDE TO LEAVE the galaxy... :confused:

There could have been a planet like Earth, with beings like ourselves, that revolved around that star. Then they burned away (or whatever). :(

There wouldn't have been any life for a long time before this happened, if it was anywhere near that black hole... those things emit far too much gamma radiation for life to survive.
