Well, _blank would be used if you want to open it in a new window - but it looks more like _parent was the intended target.

Nah, never open an external link in the window your website is running in.
That is, unless you don't want the people to stay on your site.

Actually, you all got it wrong, although Wolfy's method would probably work in this case.

It was target="_top", which sets it to the very highest level, aka, that window.

target="_parent" just goes up one frameset. In this case, it would work, since there is only one frameset. But theoretically, if you had multiples, it would only go up one level.

target="_blank" or "_new" creates a new window.

Or any othe unused target.
