Okay, I was stupid and got nailed by one of those messenger viruses last night. I ran a virus and spyware scan, removed the file, re-installed messenger, and thought all was fine. Well this thing just resurfaced on me! Maybe you've seen it; it came to me as "handcuffs." I don't know what to do:(

Messenger virus? If I'm thinking of the right thing, try this site: http://www.jayloden.com/BestFriends.htm I may be way off, but that's the first thing that popped into my head.

Thanks for the suggestions. I've done a system restore, then the housecall scan, which came up with nothing. A friend of mine suggested that it was a file called nvsc32, so I deleted that as well. Hopefully it's gone, and if not, it be reformatting time for me

nvsc32 is the nvidia driver.

Hmmm, odd, since I'm using an ATI card. However it got there, it must not belong

Do you have an nforce2 mobo, or nvidia onboard gfx? That's why.

Hmmm, not the mobo, but possibly the onboard gfx.
