Spicy and Zesty/sharp foods...

Does anyone else enjoy these types of foods as much as me? I find myself craving for my mouth to be burning from a spicy wing, or I'll crave for a big chunk of fresh salmon with 2 huge slices of fresh lemon ready to be squeezed over top.... Arg... :o

Not me. I don't like too spicy or especially too hot foods.

Once, against my better judgement, I ordered a pizza called Barbarossa. The end result was just as bad for me as it was for Germans with their Barbarossa...

I don't like particularly spicy or hot foods. I tend to pass when other people get a curry.

I love spicy food, but not spice at the expense of flavour.

Japaleno peppers are ok for spicyness, but I love the taste. I *love* spicy foods, unless it has no taste other than burning, in which I go "Ew. It tastes like nothing" or whatever. Anyways yeeeaah. Spicy foods are good.

I dislike zesty things however.

I love spicy foods. Paprika is my favorite spice. Jalapenos I love to just eat plain.

Looove spicey foods. Thai food is the best in the world. They use a lot of aromatic spices as well as the occasional good blast of chili.

You like Thai?

Wrong. Rendang is the best spicy food ever. It's really really really spiced Indonesian beef. You have to start cooking it a day before for it to be the best. That's how good it is.

Not too fond of especially spicy foods. Most Thai is fine, as is the occasional Nasi Goreng.

Zesty is fine though. As a matter of fact, I had Shrimp and Noodles with Lime & Coriander at the Wrong Noodle Bar today. Sooooo good.
Sanguinello/Blood Oranges are yummy too.

Zesty food though, I don't like as much.

Buffalo wings pwn.

Although, that japanese Kung Pao isn't bad. Anyone here tried that? Very tasty indeed. Just tried it a couple of days ago.
Very funny Scotty. Now beam down my clothes.

QFT.

I make a mean Kung Pao chicken. General Tao as well. Singapore curried rice noodles too. I've been on an Asian-cooking kick for the last month or too. :p

Szechwan sauce is one of my favourite seasonings. :D But like the Mantrain said, too much is a no-no.

Thai and Viet. The way they use odors in their food is incredible. It's something that most other cultures don't really take into consideration.

Maybe so, but I tried it at a Japanese place. The main thing is that it's good.

Mmm I just made myself some spicy scrambled eggs.

What i added:

- Chilli flakes
- pinch of oregano
- some queer spice, it smelt good so I added it heh
- Fresh ground pepper, none of that pre ground garbage
- Sea salt
- pinch of garlic powder
- about 30 of so dashes of Tobassco (hotest stuff in the house, even though its not hot)

Mmm mmm mm .;)
