does one exist? (other than fdisk, which is s***?)

if you're on XP (maybe 2k) go to start>run and type "compmgmt.msc" then click storage>disk management. From that screen you can partition your disks.

1) download knoppix
2) burn
3) run cfdisk

Would you reccomend this over PartitionMagic? Can you create a bookdisk which lets you still configure/change partitions?

I can say that I have only used fdisk a few times, I do believe that Partition Magic is a lot better, imo.

When you learn to use it, I much prefer fdisk to Partition Magic. I get what I want to get done much quicker.

And PM's screwed up on me more than once. :(

Sure, seeing as how PL is free where PM is not.

Sorry, but fdisk is not ****. You're just mad because you don't know how to use it. Maybe it is more fair to say "fdisk is not intuitive or user-friendly". If you know how to use, it it's really powerful.
