So I assume that the facial reaction of the head was from the brain of the developed baby? Then, what would be ticking inside of that extra head? When the article means, "not independent life" does it mean that the extra head is incapable of living on its own (with the lump of flesh below it) or that it doesn't have thoughts and mental capabilities? :confused:

I may be biased because of my physical condition, but I think you guys are being somewhat heartless. That doesn't look creepy to me at all, it looks sad. It's a shame those things happen. The poor girl with the head attached to her is probably in a lot of pain right now. Not to mention, another baby was pretty much killed because of this, despite it not having it's own organs. I mean, it's being called a "Parasitic Head." That just seems... wrong to my ears.

It had another brain, but its body did not function. So, it was dependent on the "normal" baby's organs, heart, etc. to "live"
