I just received this in my inbox. I blacked out my "friend's" name. I use ""'s because I don't think she'll like the beastiality porn I replied with all that much.

I just simply don't understand why the world needs to resort to this? The fact that we have living breathing human beings that enjoy/fall for this **** scares the living daylights out of me.

I've gotten a few of those invites from a few people, I usually delete them before I even look who they're from.

Reality TV.... BURN IT. KILL IT. BEAT IT SENSELESS.

So why exactly would anyone want to be on a reality tv show? Cameras following you around all the time... Other annoying/moronic/idiotic people... Dumb things to do....

Why? Quite possibly the dumbest crap to ever be put on TV.

And since we're on the subject of TV, I've discovered over the last few fridays that I almost can't bare to watch more than an hour of TV at a time. I already watch next to no TV, and on Friday's there's Stargate, Atlantis, and Battlestar: Glactica all back to back. Three hours of TV I want to see, yet can barely sit through for one reason. Commercials. Commercials that are shown over, and over, and over again, that are unoriginal, annoying, and don't persuade me in the slightest to buy their products.

I hate TV. Can I burn it?

The only reason I have a tv, is my xbox and the history channel.
The rest can all screw off.

Only time I watch TV is because my TV tuner card quality sucks for GameCube. :(

My roommate watches the simpsons tho. Pssh.

Very funny Scotty. Now beam down my clothes.

I haven't had a TV for the past two years. And you know what? ...I miss the commercials.

I think they put nicotine in them.

Somehow.

It would last all of ten minutes before the Massassians killed each other.

American commercials do truly make me want to gouge out my eyes. The ones on cable TV over here are starting to get that bad too, it's all loans and no-win-no-fee lawsuits. Anyway, the thing to do is video stuff and just skip the ads. I never watch anything straight from TV anymore. Either video it or get the DVD.

Exactly. Our commercials consist of Loans, Lawsuits, really badly produced Car commercials, drugs (namely things having to do with depression or erectile disfunction), and Geiko (whose commercials have gone from being awesome, to utter CRAP), and lets not forget the wireless providers and the Cable/Satellite people. Those commercials are all back to back to back. The same ones, all the time, with slight variations in order and style. It's mindnumbing.

God knows I'd record all of my TV directly to my computer and then edit out ALL of the commercials. However, anytime I go to record something from my TV card, I get video, but never audio. I record that seperately... but then it becomes far too much trouble.

The simple fact is, TV today blows major chunks. To watch ANYTHING even remotely good, you have to sit through the crap.

BAH! That settles it! I'm going to wage bloody war against all that is bad and sucks on TV. Who wants to join me!

It's a profile-type site...where you write about yourself, post pictures, write in a blog that nobody reads, etc. However, once you get 77 people on your buddy list ("Tag Team" ), you get the "privilege" of being able to send them an audition tape for their lame reality show.

Until Reality TV showed up, war movies about World War 2 made during World War 2 were the least realistic things to be seen on a TV.

Gee... do you think there might just be REASONS behind that? The primary being that WWII was from '41-'44 and TV didn't really take off until the '50s. Even then, technology for doing anything remotely like a war for TV wasn't really around. For movies? Maybe, sure. For TV? Hell no.

Interestingly enough, I just saw the movie version of that a few days ago. It was actually rather enjoyable.

I think the solution to the Bad Ad problem is to just start playing the Nutrigrain Ad in place of all commercials for a day or two.

Don't forget the countless commercials for Bryman College with the terrible actors. Those drive me nuts.

You fail to understand. I already watch next to NO TV. We're talking about literally maybe 8 hours a week. That's Stargate, Atlantis, Battlestar Galactica, ER, a few Daily Shows and anything random that might come on that I want to see.

That's stuff I WANT to see every week... I can't do that if the TV is off. =p
