What's your desktop resolution?

1360x1024. No skewed 1280x1024 for me. :p

1280x1024 on two monitors. I have to figure out how to set it up as actual widescreen, that would be cool for taking panoramic screenshots in games.

1280x1024. I used to run at 1600x1200, but I've decided that I like this resolution better.

1280x1024

My monitor won't go any higher. I watch TV on it in widescreen though. It's distorted, but I don't care... I like it better than 4:3 for some reason I can't pin down.

1280x1024

Native Resolution of my LCD.
When I get my CRT it will probably be one monitor at 1024x768 and my LCD at 1280x1024 just because I cant stand 60hz.

However... I upgraded my video card, so maybe I can up the resolution.

1024x768 @ 85 hz. Refresh rate is important too. I know a whole bunch of people who have their monitors at the highest resolution, and I get a headache from looking at them for just 5 seconds.:p

Nearly everything on the internet is optimized for 1024x768. That's the only reason I prefer this resolution; I don't like huge weird empty spaces on the webpages I visit, and there's no real benefit from having a higher resolution that makes up for it (the only other benefit I can think of would be "you can see more stuff at once," but I'd much rather have bigger text and everything than have more things on my screen.)

So meh. To each their own.

/me resets monitor to 2048x1536 just because he can. Then switches back because 60hz hurts his eyes too bad.

As for actual, I have dual monitors, both at 1280x1024. One is an LCD at native res, the other is my CRT, which I leave at the same just for convenience (And that anything higher hurts my eyes.)
2005-02-21, 2:34 PM #37
1280x1024 @ 75Hz

The LCD's native resolution. It's the only resolution it actually uses and everything below it is upped to 1280x1024, so it doesn't make much sense to use a lower resolution. BLEH!
