Anyone getting messages saying they are banned?

One of our members has occaisionally been getting errors when he tries to post saying that he is banned. It clears up after a few seconds, but happens again repeatedly. No admins have modified his status in the past week, so its not one of us messing around with him. (Like we'd be that unprofessional anyways ;)) Is this happening to anyone else?

UPDATE: I think the majority of problems are stemming from the fact that the Attachment Database is filling up again. Attachments are actually stored within the db in binary, so this table tends to take up a lot of space. When it gets really large, it starts to corrupt other things, causing problems. I'm going to prune the attachements tonight, so basically any images older than 2 weeks will be removed. If there's something you want to save, get it now.

i've had it where it logs me out bettween the time i hit reply and the page loads, so it won't let me post

I've had some wierd problems occur in the past, but nothing at the moment.

Which message are you guys getting? Is it the one that says your account has been banned?

I get the one saying my IP has been banned and it won't let me even READ the forums. I'm guessing someone's got a similar IP to me sometimes, I'm on dial-up however, so a quick disconnect and I get a new IP. :)

If you had kept track of what your ip was at the time, and had let us know, we could've taken care of that. ;)

Ahhh but I did, I told someone ages ago, and they said it wasn't on the list of banned IP addresses but obviously it must've been... unless I was unaware of a proxy being run, which I doubt, as I only recently discovered them.

I got the first message about the account being banned for a couple days straight on two occasions. One I had changed my email address and forgot about the rule, and the other I just assumed I had been banned for something stupid.:confused:
It took a while for you to find me; I was hiding in the lime tree.

ok, I've pruned the attachments and removed about 100 megs worth of files. Let me know if you guys are still having problems.
