About that Recon Gamer ad...

Is anyone else annoyed more with the new version of the Recon Gamer ad? Its more colorful and flashier then before.

But my real question is this: Does the new colorful ad gives you an urge to click? At least, does it catch your eye more often?

I guess its no big deal but I wanted to say something about it...

You know, getting bombarded with ads everywhere kinda made me immune to those. except now I don't have to suffer from popups.

Yeah, how's this for odd? My parents haven't been the least bit interested in my love-life my entire life, and now that prom is soon my Dad all of a sudden seems concerned that if I don't find a date and go it will mean I'm a social failure.
I don't get it... I accepted that fact a long time ago, why is he just now realizing it?

They only seem colorful because of the black background, and because the old ones we were so used to.

This site has ads? Never noticed them. I can't understand why people would be bothered by something as benign as a banner ad, its those pop down ads that geocities and lycos have that annoy me.

That'd be the worst reason for being banned i've heard. Especially since it's not in the rules.

The new add seems to be a little more unobtrusive than the old one... Since it's a banner ad, I don't bother to block them. They only become a problem when they are excessively large files, that exceeed mabye 20 kilobytes for a single one. THEN I get unhappy.
