I did it. I made one of these. I am leaving..for now.This place is like...really boring now. The topics arent original....or I just dont have much in common cause I can't reply to half of these threads. Until something tickles my bottom..and it hasnt in a while...off I go! I'm sorry to see you go, ubuu. I agree about the recent inspidness of Massassi. It's rather unsettling. I don't come here *all* that often myself, either.

Unfortunately, ubuu, most of the memories I have of you are of kicking and banning from TACC, and the occasional times when you were on the #massassi hatelist.

I like to think we ultimately fostered a kind of quiet respect for one another evidenced in occasional banter. Farewell, and good luck in all your future endeavors.

this reminds me of an exercise we did with string in our "freshmen year experience" class.

the hole class got up, and a ball of yarn was handed to one person; that person said his/her name, then he/she held onto the string and through the rest of the ball to someone across the room. this process was repeted untill everyone held onto the piece of string and had said there name, whitch created a web in and all over the room of people connections and stuff.

well then the leader person asked one guy to drop his part of the string; the leader made the comment taht the sting was now lacking in the place where the person had dropped out, and that he would be missed.

i said: no that cant be right, all we have to do is tighten up the string and wind up the extra, and it will be as if he was never here. there will be no memory of that person to remain in the web of people
