I feel good.

No, not the song. I really do feel good. I have had a very invigorating and contentful day. I've also been eating like a machine.

Right, I woke up pretty late, about 10:00, but I had stayed up late the night before watching Chariots of Fire and Rocky (note to self: when feeling unmotivated, watch movies about guys who win Olympic Medals and beef up like no tomorrow! ;) ). I got up, and my Dad announced we were taking a tree down from our front yard. That was surprising, but I dressed and had breakfast. I had a big bowl of peaches and cream oatmeal with brown sugar sprinkled on top, another big bowl, this time with organic yogurt with sliced strawberries and mandarin oranges on it, and finally a breakfast Hot Pocket with a tall glass of Cranberry Apple Juice.

The night before I had done a couple hundred situps and about 80 oushups and a few dumbell curlsl, so I was feeling pretty sore since I wasn't used to that. I got outside, and my dad and started work on the tree. His chainsaw was pretty blunt though, so we started sawing it with 20 year old bow-saw, which was pretty feeble and didn't handle too well. Did I mention this is on about a 45 degree slope, so we had to crawl back up to our driveway (we live on a mountain). And he and my Mum and sister went out shopping (he's going to get a new chain for the chainsaw and we're going to finish up tomorrow). While he was out, I did some of my homework, and memorized some more of my play lines.

Then I got some lunch. A Meatballs and Mozzarella Lean Pocket, with a big plate of vegetables, a carrot sandwich (don't ask :p ), a Granny Smith Apple, and 2 glasses of water. I decided to go for a run/walk (I need to exercise more often, and I was in the mood), but I wanted a buddy, So I ran about a mile towards my friend's house downhill, and then hiked 1.5 miles uphill (and I mean slopes that you'd need low gear on if you were in a truck). I got to his house. We walked his dogs around the mountain for about an 40 minutes (we must have gone nearly 3 miles). Then he drove me back to my house in his Jeep, and he stayed awhile. We played some Table Football, and then he left. I walked my dogs, and then my parents got back. Now they are going out for dinner, and I'm cooking my sister and I chicken tenders, pasta, and baked potatoes, with Lemon Cake and Strawberries for Desert. We're going to watch Joan of Arcadia off of the TiVo. :)

This probably sounds pretty boring to most people, but I felt really accomplished after today, especially since I'm inactive so much in front of my Computer. Later, I think I'll balance out with some work on My JK Level which can be found here
So often I lack motivation, that I'm happy I got out and idd some thing today. Post your meals/accomplsihments/feelings about today and how you stay motivated!

I'm impressed. A thread about how you had a good day, and it didn't even involve a girl. Well, except for your sister.

I had a good day too. I woke up at 2:00, and I found an internet archive of every single Calvin an Hobbes comic strip... and I just ordered pizza for my breakfast/lunch/dinner.

Daft, do you have a better idea for motivation? Watching movies takes too long :/ and my grades and such are suffering.

I woke up at 6:45 and at 7 went to the Blue/Gold banquet (2 of my brothers are in the boy/cubscouts). Then I came home, made another (lame!) buddy icon and then worked on a cog or two. Afterward I spent the time playing that awesome oldie Earthworm Jim. Ate dinner, and now I'll prolly work on some physics homework (if I don't fall asleep first ;)).

Hey my Dad and I chainsawed the tree. Unfortunately, about midway down it landed on top of two other smaller trees. Not good planning on our parts. We ended up cutting down the two smaller trees, and the whole lot came crashing down. It was kind of sad though, but they were getting rotten. :(

Anyway, we'd had the sense to put the car o nthe other isde of the driveway, so I drove myself and my sister off to youth group with my Dad (I have a permit, getting my license in April hopefully) where we held a Birthday party for a little kid down at the Asheville Homeless Shelter. My dad chainsawed the trees into smaller sections and hauled them off while my sister and I were gone, and then when we got back, I finished off my homework! ;)

And now here I am, praying that we'll have snow tomorrow, since it seems to be on the horizon. :D

I got up at about 12 or later, but didn't get out of bed until like 3 or so. (Well, I was reading). then, I got up and had crumb cake and popcorn and continued reading. unfprtunately, I finished the book (it's the last of the series out yet! :() and I had to get online to see when the next book us coming out- wasn't really hungry, so I didn't eat dinner- and then I took and nice warm bath (not feeling the best) and went over some of the finer parts of the book, and went back online. yeah, not so much an exciting day, but I was content- I actually did have a soclial life yesterday and friday, I promise!
