I seriously dont know what to think of it. I loved Doom 3, but it feels like an expansion pack coming out this soon after the games release is just an attempt at some quick cash. The video shows the "gravity gun" new to the game, but I think it was mistake to include that, its an obvious ripoff of the gravity gun in HL2. About the only thing that sparked my interest in the trailer was the double barelled shotgun, but I bet a mod for that has already been released.

Anyway, you can get it from fileplanet here, but I am sure you can find it elsewhere for those of you that hate fileplanet.

But seriously, my point was that it doesnt look like an expansion to me. It looks like its just going to be the same "run around in the dark and shoot stuff" type thing.

WC3:TFT was the same old command an army from above and have a plot that involves getting from one map to the other, or surviving for a period of time.

Alright, thats those two games. To ME this looks like its not going to make doom 3 any more fun than it already was... which is the point of an expansion. To make it better/more fun.

Anyway, I enjoy just running around and shooting stuff... so I have no problems whatsoever doing it some more.

I think the addition of kick *** weapons, more monsters, open areas and such would make the game more fun.

Jesus H. Christ, they've had the command g_grabber since the early stages of the engine (I'm pretty sure it was even in the E3 release) which is a very basic gravity gun command, with no model.

Dj, Half life 2 still had it and announced it and showed it off before. So Doom ripped them off.

No, they didn't. The Doom 3 E3 trailer was for E3 2003. They had the g_grabber command in that build I'm almost certain. Seeing as how HL2 wasn't shown until E3 2003 (unless I'm mistaken. It may have been announced earlier) they debuted pretty much the same time.
