The swords crap but I feel for the guy. He should have sucked it up better though! I can't believe that anyone would think they would get quality steel for that price. Oh well, the sword probably wouldn't have had any problem if it wasn't slammed against a table SIDEWAYS. Video clip was funny as hell, too.

440 stainless is alright, but 440a high carbon surgical stainless is MUCH better and is quite strong and maintains a good edge. it's what they use in good cutlery like cutco and henckels...

I have a pocketknife that is 440a HCSS and I only have to sharpen it once a year. My old one I had to sharpen once a week b/c it was cheap low-grade stainless.
