Yea, does anything like this exist? If I go to view these cutscenes in Far Cry my computer locks up, same with Bink Video player. So hopefully I'd like to be able to view them so I have some idea of the plot. I'm already in the tree top level and not exactly sure what the hell is going on yet.

I believe that Bink Tools does that.

Only problem is after converting them there around 3GB, and Winamp really doesn't like to play 3GB AVIs.

Then they're being converted to a raw, uncompressed avi.

Encode them with DiVX or something if you want them to be small.

well once you have a mpg or avi you could compress it with DivX or XviD or your favourite format.

Don't use winamp. Its a AUDIO player, no matter how much they make it otherwise. Use Media Player Classic or something, and you won't have much of a problem.

Or, of course, you can throw it in VirtualDub and compress it. But the second idea takes a helluva lot longer, especially if you are going to watch them only once.

Meh, it's not too time consuming if you've got a nice processor that can pull of 35 fps average on a 640x480 clip.

I believe that program gives you the option to compress while it's converting. Just look for where it says "Full frames (uncompressed)" or something like that, and choose divx.
