So..I received partial financial aid for last semester and this semester -- my sister had complete aid and also recently received a letter stating that her financial aid situation had be re-evaluated, and she was sent two more checks. Since she had already got over twice what I was awarded, I was a little annoyed - it's great for her, but it seems like those who work more get less..lol

So -- I come back from my car club meet this morning..and my mother hands me two $740 checks that just came in..for me. :eek:

I hope it wasn't a mistake..

So what's the big surprise? In most cases, you have to apply for scholarships unless they're state-sanctioned based on GPA.

Since I received the check for the balance (under $200 after tuition was taken out) of my grant months ago, I didn't exactly expect to see $1480 show up on my doorstep.
