Herman Hesse wrote Siddharta and Steppenwolf (along with others).

Steppenwolf is the name of a band that does such amazing songs as Magic Carpet Ride.

Once again: Don't Diss!

Heart of Darkness sucks.
I haven't read it, but I could use a vacation.
It's not the side effects of cocaine, so then I'm thinking that it must be love

I just finished reading Fahrenheit 451 in Junior High, and I loved it. Alot. I read Of Mice and Men a couple years ago, and I really loved that book too. I don't recall reading any Dickens yet, I'll wait until high school.
The tired anthem of a loser and a hypocrite.

How old are you?

If you're in the US, you'll read Fitzgerald, Steinbeck, and Hemmingway almost definitely in the 11th grade. American literature and all that.

I myself am dyslexic, and while I'm by no means a serious case it was still hard for me when I was younger to get through English classes.

Differen't people are better at different things, thats what makes them human. If everything was the same for everyone.... life would so damn boring.

I'm sorry, I did say that I understand not everyone is likely to have found it as easy as me. But you have a disability that directly affects your english skills, so of course you find it hard. I would hope that special allowances were made for you, though making the whole class easier for everyone wouldn't do any good.
