Walmart is THE most evil company on the face of this planet.

Disney is second.

Microsoft resting at a far third place.

What about AOL and Starbucks? They're pretty evil...especially Starbucks with all the tempting, yummy chocolately calories >_>

Starbucks and AOL don't hire illegal immigrants so they can pay them less.

They pay their employees pretty good infact.

The only thing I have against Starbucks is that I can't go in there and order a NORMAL CUP OF COFFEE without a hassle...

I don't want ten freaking options. When I say I want a medium coffee with two scoops of sugar and MILK that means I want my medium coffee with two scoops of sugar and milk.

Seriously... :P

And AOL isn't that bad. They do internet for computer illiterate people, thats their job. If you aren't computer illiterate you don't have to deal with them.

AOL/Time Warner might own your soul... but atleast they don't have a known record for treating their employees like poo. Which is why Walmart is the most evil.

I totally agree about the Starbucks: When I went to America to stay with with my ex's family for a bit, I had to fly out alone and meet El's Auntie: luckily she was El's mum's sister and was the spit of her, so I easily picked her out - but we went straight to a Starbucks ('You look like you need a cup of tea' - oh she was sooo right)...

...When I asked for a 'Medium white tea please' I was bombarded with a lightening fast string of questions that I barely understood - let alone had the mental capacity to respond coherently to! It's easy - Boiling water + tea bag + a drop of milk!

Fen had to sort me out - my head was too jet-lagged to cope!

Luckily, it was an ok brew, so I didn't complain ;)

Yeah, because you just know EA has "codeshops" in third world countries where illegal immigrants are forced to work on game code for 12+ hours a day for only a couple of cents an hour.

Except... not... at all...

EA may have horrid working conditions, but their employees are paid livable wages. A couple cents an hour is a lie.

I think that was a bit of sarcasm Freelancer... right over your head.

Anyway, yeah, Wal-Mart and Disney are horrible. 13cents an hour to work ALL day, usually shifts of 16+ hours, NO sick days, NO maternity days (almost all women workers), forced overtime without additional (lucky if any) pay, no injury coverage, etc. We had folks come and talk about workin in those "sweatshops", and they are absolutely wretched.

I have a box of paints down stairs and on the side of the box it says something like "Shipment number: 1337". I chuckle everytime I see it.
