Yup firefox rules cause it tells you to update it without loading some huge *** page at start up.

In all seriousness, get it. It has crucial security updates, and for future information, there's a little red and white icon next to the circle of dots in the upper right hand corner, just below the minimize, maximize, and exit icons which shows you when there's critical updates. Just click it
