Has anyone encountered one of these yet? From what I've been told, there's a group of fifty of them, (01-50), and they attempt to direct connect with you and send you a file (%n%n%n%n%n%n.exe). I've personally been bothered by two before restricting people not on my buddy list from contacting me. Also, I've been told that all of them have 'Ghost Tools' in their buddy info. Just kind of a heads up, and I'm wondering if anyone has any clue as to what they are.

Yeah, had a few last week, my friends all got trojan viruses after clicking a link with the following accompanied text. It sent this out to everyone on their list after successfully invading the pc.

Sorry, should have stated, through AIM. Pretty sure whoever was running the bots has been caught or something - No one seems to have been bothered by them for a while (I could watch people on my buddy list who'd accept the file drop off)

For older versions of AIM things like this would effectively cause a crash. They used to be exploits, but since they were fixed many many AIM versions ago they're just annoying programs that script kiddies download to pwn their friends.
