I really liked the remake of the first one of the Gamecube, but Resident Evil 4 is one of the best games I've ever played. It is also one of the best looking. It was often that I would look at something and wonder how on Earth that got it to look that good. It's also just plain fun to play. I haven't had that much fun playing a game in a while.

Maybe it's because I"ve played faster paced games like HL, DOom3, or HL2, not to mentions many others.

Maybe it's because i'm used to the resident evil formula after playing every one of the other games...some twice.

But playing # 4 seemed... well...
It was very well done. But I didnt find it as fun. I missed the scary mystery aspect *shrug*. I can't say I didn't love blasting the crap out of zombies, but after that I could jump right back in to figuring out what was ehind the next door, or whatm ystery or twist lied next.

RE4 was just a long action game where you couldn't move as much.

My opinion changes back and forth. I mean... I can see the epic/sweetness, the fantastic graphics, and I had alot of fun at many parts. But I felt like it lacked variety. It was just a long shoot-em-up.

Anyway...

well.

:P RE2 was always like, the best one I played IMO. RE4... was a close second.
