hmm... whenever i open internet explorer, my homepage is set to 'www.wholeworldmarket.com/something/somethingelse'... So I reset the default to www.massassi.net, but a little while later it always resets is to the wholeworldmarket one...

i've run ad-aware, and deleted a few data miners, but the problem persists. I used Norton Internet security to set it as a restricted site, but at this point it still tries to go the site every time i open IE, only to say 'restricted site' blah.


any ideas? If i wasn't very informative, sorry.

You might want to try Spybot and run anoutehr search. you have some sort of program doing it to you, you're jsut goign to have to weed it out. you might want to also take a gander as msconfig startup list if you're good enough with all that.

i could probably sift through the cfg file, but an easier approach is probably more on my level I'm giving spybot a whirl.
