Wow, I'm glad we aren't required to have a portrait of Bush in our homes in America. He doesn't exactly have the most photogenic face I've ever seen. But aside from that.. yeah.. those are some messed up priorities there..

Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poking me in the ribs and cackling, telling me, "You're next." They stopped after I started doing the same thing to them at funerals.

Sick. It's a shame such men create that atmosphere of paranoia that keeps people from rising up.

Wow. I could never imagine giving my life for someone else's PICTURE. How would Kim even know the picture might have been saved? For all anyone knows, they could have been unreachable.

I would personally love to pu hot lead into Kims head... I swear if I ever get a shot I'd take it without thinking twice.

... Yes, let's indiscriminately obliterate millions of innocent people, even though they've been brainwashed. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/rolleyes.gif]

Seriously, given this information, I'm having a difficult time discerning why we shouldn't act against the North Korean government, be it political, humanitarian, or military action.

Hmm... requires a potrait of himself in everyone's house?

There's a slight possibility that he suffers from an inferiority complex. (Like many dictators).

Or maybe because people are getting sick of sticking their noses where they don't belong and policing the rest of the world?

In a nutshell, yes. It's all about money. As the world's major supplier of oil the US have a massive interest in keeping the Middle East stable, while there are no economic possibilities for the US in North Korea.

I used to believe that we must fight the future, lest change come without our consent. I was wrong. The truth is that we must embrace the future, for only with change can we remain the same.
And when the moment is right, I'm gonna fly a kite.

Invading N. Korea has little economic benefit to us. And, I don't think it will have a good impression here at home. I can all ready see it becoming another Vietnam. And GBK is right. Put a bullet in Kim Il Jong's temple and you only strengthen N. Korea against us. Don't want to piss off a country with nuclear capability and is authortarian in nature.

North Korea is packed full of crazies, I remember reading in the paper a year back or so that their only sources of international income were from drug-smuggling and weapons sales. This was just after they'd owned up to kidnapping Japanese citizens in the 70s/80s and brainwashing them.
