Well, I was just surfin' the web when I found this . . .

Dark Forces Redux

This is a DF TC for Half-Life 2. There is also one for JA. There is also one that might surface for Doom 3.

From a modding standpoint, Dark Forces seems to be quite popular.

Was posted not too long ago.

I think it's by the same people who did the old Bungie game TC for Doom 3. That was in the latest PCGamer. It's supposedly pretty cool.

I would love to see a Jedi mod for HL2. Think how good it would be with that physics engine.

If there was a DF2 mod for HL2, I'd go buy it in a second purely for that. Even if it was only mp

I would pay a lot of money to see old kyle in the Source Engine. I'd start a mod like that if I knew how.

Yeah but the source engine isn't the best engine out there, you know.

Either the PAIN engine or the SITH engine.

Dunno. The PAIN engine isn't that great either...I mean it's good, but online play is just...pointless. The netcode is crap.

Why are we even talking about the SITH engine? DF TCs have started and failed innumerable times on the SITH engine. It would definitely have to be a different one.

The Quake3 engine is ok. Although I didn't see any interesting physics put into the engine.

We could start a JK mod here.

Uhhh... they're talking about ports of DARK FORCES, which runs on the JEDI engine. :p Sorry.

are you seriously even starting to think about comparing the SITH and source engine, much less say that the SITH engine is better? you're insane.

It's a bit difficult to tell, but I think Glyde was referring to Obi's original post about a "Jedi Mod" for the source engine, which would make Obi's most recent post correct.
