Has anyone seen some of the new ones? What's so funny about them, is the way they start out looking like something completely different, and you don't know it's Geico until about the last couple of seconds. The announcer's voice is so funny in how droning and monotonous it sounds. I can't think of a really good one right now, but I like the one with the weather guy talking about a natural disaster while a volcano explodes in the background, "...but I do have good news, I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to Geico."

The funny thing is, most people like me, just like Geico because they make cool adverts, not because they might actually be a good company. Discuss your thoughts on this, and also post your favorite or most unusual Geico commercial.

They're not exactly new, they've been around for over a year now...

the old navy one is hilarious... they have it down to a t on the crappy styles and the ending where they all have there heads out of the tent is pretty classic. Also the "Little House" reality show is sooo funny. They get married and it shows her denying hiim in bed and they are all stressed out.

Actually, they're been around for a lot longer than that, but they're constantly making new ones and altering the style somewhat.

YES! The Old Navy one is hilarious! I've never seen the Lil' House on the Prairie one though.

Geico has pretty good commercials...ANYWAY onto what I think about the actual company.

Geico dropped us because the axel in our van broke and crashed into a telephone pole...and since the police moved the car before having it inspected, the car is considered 'tampered with' and there is no 'proof' it was the axel...So since they NEED to blame someone, they blame us...we got 100% of the blame...they dropped us...bastards.

Here is a question...Why do you have car insurance?

Here is an answer...So in the event that you get in an accident they can pay for your repairs etc.

Here is the actual answer...Insurance companies expect you to pay them every year without actually using there services. Why? Because they want all the money they can get, and if a person actually needs to use the 'insurance', they get screwed.

So basically, you get car insurance to make sure your car is insured incase of an accident...but when you get in an accident the insurance company doesn't even want to know you. I don't get it. We pay the insurance company to insure us, and then when we require their services they kick us out.

The older commercials were far, far, FAR better. The new ones just fall flat. They aren't so much funny as they are annoying and stupid. I used to like watching them. Now they're just some of the more bearable commercials on TV.

the little house one is like a reality show were a newly wed couple gets married... duh... and then they move into a house that is 2/3s the size of a real house and everything is smaller and they cant stand up fully. Its an awesome commercial and the actors in it look real.

I have to admit that for the first few seconds, I actually thought this was a real show being advertised the first time I saw it.

They do have some pretty good ads but I think I liked the old ones a little more.

Ditto. I was like "Wow...that's going to be interesting... What? Car In--DAMN YOU GEICO, I SHALL NOW FURTHER MY PLANS TO DESTROY YOU WITH FIREEEE"...

Yeah...it went something like that.
