You know the drill.

I just recently got back into Deus Ex. I have learned that I'm good with judging distances of explosions. Killed 6 people with one rocket without injuring myself. Yay.

How do you fit the GEP gun and the flamethrower in your inventory and still have room for all those other weapons I wonder? ;)

Me sky diving in Hong Kong. Hard to see, but there are quite a bit of icky things.


Also, make sure your inventory is full, and you have a big weapon in there (GEP, Flamethrower, plasma or whatever). Click and drag it out of the window as if you'd drop it, then hit esc. Now pick up another weapon and it'll go behind the first one. Make sure you have a space in your belt free or else you won't be using it :P

It takes a lot of reorginizing once you want all three, a shotgun and an assult rifle all in the same slots. You can also do this for small items. I piled up upgrade canisters and such.

Is Dues Ex a cool game? It sounds like you get to go where you want doing missions. Is that how it is?

Yeppers. There are also a ton of ways to do things.

Locked door? Screw using a lock pick, attach a LAM to it and hit it with a crowbar (Not advisable)

Bust it down with your trusty GEP gun!


Huge group of enemies outside the door? You might want to use a gas grenade and take them all out execution style while wearing your portable hazmat suit or using your handy enviroment thingie augmentation. Of course, you can barge in and run in circles with a flamethrower... But yeah.

Also, lots of ways through missions. Front door, back door, side door, vent systems, charging screaming through the hallways with an automatic shotgun... you name it!

Yes, Deus Ex is am amazing game. You can even play it to the point where it isn't even really a shooter. Just stealth around the whole time.

That's made me want to get Deus Ex, sneaking is fun. I completed most of the two Halo games by sneaking. I was also aptly named Sneaky and had a tendency to hog swords. Good times. I want Deus Ex now. *buys* *lots*

Glyde - go tot he part in DX where you talk to Standon Dowd in Hell's Kitchen, and there's a rush of MJ12 troops all come at once (or they may be UNATCO, I forget)...

...Just shoot one WP rocket into them (They come in one great group) and watch them all burn!!

(Mwuahahahahah)

What I do for that part is set up a LAM right outside the door.

Of course, I've made up for my lack of WP rockets with.. my flamethrower :)

Nothing beats running into a guard break room and waving that baby around. Happened in the DTS place. I knew what happened so I dug my crowbar into the maid, then into maggie, then went into the DTS room, avoided the camera, and stood in the doorway to the breakroom.

Just stood there for a bit, then a guard walked by and said "Oh my g-*FWOOSH* ARarhgahhH!" Everyone else ran over to see what was happening, and a lot of burning people running in circles ensued.

Haha! I never had much time for the flamethrower, as I valued my GEP too much but that does sound like a lot of fun :D

Well now you know how to put the flamethrower and the GEP Gun into the same slots >_>

I also didn't value the flamethrower that much, but I started using it and I now wish I had chosen the napalm canister from Carter instead of pistol ammo (Which I now have 20 some odd clips in it...)

Aaaand after I "interogated" that damn reporter.

Also, since I rushed through versalife the first time, I have the DTS with nearly no augs. The second time, I went through the front door and decided to raid it all. >=)

All aug slots are full now.
