What's Your Favorite Western?

For me it would definately have to be Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, but then I'm only 16 and haven't seen two many westerns. I'm curious what other Westerns people love (assuming there are any connoisseurs of the genre on Massassi). Clint Eastwood is definately one of my preferred actors for Westerns.

So, post your #1 Western movie, #1 Western actor, and a list of western's you'd love to see but haven't gotten around to yet.

My list of top Westerns to see is:
Once Upon A Time In The West
The Good, Bad and the Ugly

I havent watched too many westerns, so I would have to say Tombstone. It was a lot better than I expected at least.

Yeah, I'd like to see that one too, but to shame if that's your idea of a "classic" spaghetti western! :D

Gotta agree with Butch Cassidy and the Sundance kid.

That's a great film. Also, The Good The Bad And the Ugly definatly deserves a mention.

I haven't really watched any Westerns...I would have to say, anything by Steven Seagal that can be classified as a Western.

Definitely Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. That is a classic if I have ever seen one. Paul Newman and Robert Redford are an awesome team. :)
The man in black fled across the desert, and the Gunslinger followed...

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly is actually one of my favorite movies ever.

Westerns YOU MUST see:
1. The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
2. For a Few Dollars More
3. A Fistful of Dollars
4. Hang 'Em High
5. The Outlaw Josey Wales
6. Unforgiven <-------bueno bueno bueno, but not as good as TGBU
7. Open Range
8. Tombstone

and ya, I love Blazing Saddles, but everyone knows the best Mel Brooks movie is Young Frankenstein.

The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance
The Man From Laramie

The Searchers

Fav Western Actors would be Jimmy Stewart and John Wayne

Per Qualcho Dollare in Piu / For a Few Dollars More.

Lee Van Cleef = Bad ***. Especially his stupidly long revolver with the attachable stock. Best bounty-hunter in a movie ever. He also has one of the best and most recognizeably unique faces of any actor.
If it breaks, you get to keep both pieces.
