They take urban legends and try to find out of they are true or not (or possible). The one I saw was dealing with the rumor that Jimmy Hoffa is buried under the parking lot of Giant Stadium in New York.

So what did they just dig up the ground underneath the stadium? I dont see how else they could bust that myth, unless they found his body somewhere else...

Maybe they used sonar imaging or something. The show is pretty awesome but I rarely catch it.

The one episode I saw they were disproving the myth about an overweight lady who sat on an airline toilet while the plane was in the air, then due to the change in atmospheric pressure and the seal caused by her butt and toilet seat, couldnt stand up after the plane had landed. They moulded a giant butt out of latex and everything.

MythBusters is great. The best ones are the blow stuff up. There was a new one a couple weeks back where they called in the FBI so they could gather enough explosives to blow the sh*t out of a cement truck. The FBI had them back off about a mile from ground zero, and they shut down nearby highways.

My favourite one was the Death Car. They put a couple of dead pigs in a car to see if it was true that if something dies and decomposes in a car that you could never drive it again because of the stench. It was true. The mustached guy kept throwing up.

Tree cannon = win. Though I think Jamie gave up too early on the spoon drill. It was only one person, and he wasn't applying all that much pressure. If a whole village worth of people turned a spoon drill and applied downward pressure, I think they might have been able to drill it.
