And green spread across the land, and '97 style html flew across the skies and gave form to frames, text, and monospace text boxes. And it was good.

Unreagh.

Actually, yes. Here in Winnipeg, Manitoba, we had a major flood in the spring that almost flooded my very own home. I was 6 at the time. We had SO much water on our yard and stuff, but the reason we never got flooded was because of something we have called the "Flood Way". It's a huge ditch that surrounds Winnipeg. Stops flooding and stuff. Makes for good snowboarding.
Very funny Scotty. Now beam down my clothes.

Funny, I remember playing Goldeneye 007 for N64 in '97. And doing random stuff and watching Batman and other shows. Damn, my memory is bad.

BTW, when is "Massassi's birthday"?

I was 14 in 1997. It was the year after I quit playing rugby for my local team, and possibly the year of my first real girlfriend, but it was a long while ago... ;)

Lucas began his slow rape of the Original Trilogy.

It was one of the best Star Wars figure collecting years though, everything was pretty easy to find and low-priced. It was nice...and there were no chase figures.

Dude! Can it truly be a fellow Manitoban, here on Massassi? I always thought I was the only one!

That's the "Flood of the Century" you're talking about there, right? I remember that. People with sandbags everywhere. Though I always thought it was rather presumtuous to call it the "Flood of the Century" when there was still a few years of the century left to go...

1997...I think I was being homeschooled then. All I remember is ditching homework to play with Star Wars toys and legos. Were the Spice Girls still around then? Because I'm actually thinking this is the year my friend started her lasting Spice Girl obsession...(she has all the posters, dolls, cds...you get the picture...it's very scary.)

I know Massassi's birthday is in March. I assumed Brian's post meant: "thanks for realizing it's Massassi's birthday" and I tried to jump on that bandwagon.

Oh come on, beer? Massassi was born from fine wines of france. Lots, and lots, of fine wines from france. Hence the constant bashing of everyone.
