What a thrilling morning...
2005-03-18, 10:32 AM #1
This wonderful morning started off with me abruptly waking up at 3am for no apparent reason. No big deal I thought, I'll just go right back to sleep. Yeah, right... 3 hours pass with me tossing and turning still trying to hold onto that dream of when I could sleep again. 6:30 rolls around and I'm still up, and now I have that great feeling of throwing up... So I end up dry heaving and eventually toss up my cookies.

Finally, I can sleep! I grab a bottle of water and I'm off to bed! I do get back to sleep when at 7:30, I decide to stretch because I'm so comfortable and cosy. Then BAM! I get this SEARING pain in my right calf... A super cramp. So here I am screaming in agony for about 2 minutes when it finally goes away. I'm now covered in sweat and starting to feel a little sick again, but that passes. I take a few sips of water and head back to sleep. What a start to a glorous day!

All of this happened while I had a 100% completlely stuffed up nose. I wake up at 11:30, only to notice that my calf is still sore and I don't feel too great, but not sick either...

So, post your morning.

Headaches, Sol? Sounds like you've got the flu.

It's 5.30am and I'm still up. Only got home under an hour ago. Better still I have to go to work at 11am. And even better, it's Saturday! Yay.

No headaches, I just don't feel too good overall. Probably is the flu.

I woke up at 7:15, studied some for my Circuit Theory quiz, went to my Ethics class and zoned out for an hour, got my Circuits test back (30/110 ouch! But the class average was onyl 36.8, and the instructor grades on a standard normal curve. Plus, I've done really well on all the other quizzes and the other test). Took a quiz in Circuits, got a 12/16 because I was dumb and forgot that the voltage across an inductor is the derivative of the current through the inductor multiplied by the inductanve, and not the current through the inductor multiplied by Thevenin's Resistance. Stupid brain fart there.

I then came back, did some Discrete Math homework, ate lunch, and now I'm going to finish my last Discrete homework problem and go to class at 2:00CST. I'll also pack for the trip home later today (hooray for spring break).

Got out of work at 1 am (I'm a student custodian here at RIT, work from 11 pm till 1 am every night except friday and saturday), came back to my dorm room, and browsed the internet for a little while. Climbed into bed, read for a bit, then finally went to sleep around 2:30 or 3 am. Woke up at 11 am, showered, got dressed, and went over to the academic side of campus to do some homework.

Not an especially exciting day.

So last night I finally got to sleep at 1:30. At exactly 1:42 my friend called me very drunk and angry about his bartender. We talked until about 4am, then I went back to sleep almost instantly. With some interuptions now and then, I finally woke up around noonish. Then I laid in bed for an hour strectching and thinking how nice it was to be in bed and be on Spring Break. Then it hit me. I set a goal a while back to finally talk to this guy I like by next Friday. I suddenly realized how close next Friday was. Now I'm up and debating a shower and going and getting Chinese. Actually a pretty good morning :D

one day after I'd been skating all day, I went home to my g/fs house and we hung out and stuff. Then in teh middle of the night I woke up as both of my calves were cramping up worse than had ever happened before, at the same time. 5 minutes later it stops, and I go back to sleep. I woke up the next mornin so sore that I couldnt' walk at all....

I remember doing that to myself a few times. Good god the things your body can go through.

Not to mention I fell on my face about 10 times that day. Needless to say, I was glad it was a Sunday.

My Saturday morning:

- 7:15 - Wake up, get dressed quickly
- 7:25 - Have finished my breakfast of pancakes (mmm). I wait for my parents to get ready
- 7:30 - Leave for track practice
- 7:50 - 10:00 - Track practice. Sprint-jog-sprint-jog-etc. Then a 4x400 (1600m relay race where four people run 400m each) Yeesh.
-10:30 - Get home, turn on computer, see this.

Now I'll probably mess around on the computer for a bit and then go hang out with my friends and skate a bit (even though I really, really shouldn't)

Sounds like we all had rather lovely mornings! Let's see...

I got woken up from a very uncomfortable sleep in a strange bed by my girlfriend at around 9.30am after an 18th at at a friends place. Drove home around 10.30am or so, after stopping by a bakery with her and a friend to grab some breakfast.

Got in the house, and started doing some uni assignments that are due before the mid-semester break, and half fell asleep. Awoke to my phone rining, mummy saying that she and my sister have bought a new kitten... eek :S Continued my homework, watched some Simpsons marathon on Fox 8, nursed my slight headache from not sleeping enough, and contemplated when I'm working next.

Ohh, I'm about to go to Safeway to replenish my Coke collection! And some paper, need to print out many, many lecture notes. As a side note, curses to PDF files.

I should start writing a blog...

I went to bed at 11:00 last night, up at 11:47 this morning, so I slept for nearly all the morning hours.
