I just managed to get an X-Box with 1 controller and 3 games for £30, nice deal, i'm sure even the anti-xboxers would like to admit.

Anyone got any suggestions for games?

The console came with Simpsons: Hit & Run, WWF Raw 2 & Buffy: Chaos Bleeds, they all seem half decent.

On my to-get list so far I have Ninja Gaiden, Fable, Soul Calibur 2, Halo 2 & Chronicles of Riddick.

Any suggestions for decent games? Fun multiplayer ones would be the best (not x-box live, just a few mates and controllers, beat em ups and racing games).

Non-KOTOR RPGS and a few action games would be nice too, any suggestions would be good.

I DO NOT WISH TO HEAR YOUR OPINIONS ON "WHY XBOX SUCKS"

That is all, good day.

Sweet. Mechassault 2 is...meh... I'm not a fan of the sp.

Also, YOU NEED TO GET BURNOUT 3. That game is superior to all other racing games (okay, not all). Also, do NOT get the second Prince of Persia.

Fable has little to no replay value and you'll finish the game very quickly.

Psi-Ops for GODS SAKE!!! It's one of the best games on the X-Box! Also Fable was pretty meh, I'd rent it before I think about buying it.
Think while it's still legal.

PSI-OPS! Yes, how could I forget? That and Max Payne 1 are the best 3rd person shooters ever made in my opinion.

and if your PC can handle riddick the xbox version is nice but when compared to the PC version... everything is cleaner on the PC plus you get extra levels and the xbox version has horrible jaggies

other games to look at (keep in mind some of these have PC versions)
Bloodrayne 1 and 2
Bloodwake
Crimson Skies
Enclave
Freedom Fighters
Jet Set Radio Future
Mechassault 1 and 2
both Oddworld games
Rallisport Challenge 2
Rainbow Six 3
Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow
Splinter Cell *

The latest Burnout game is definately the most fun racing game I've EVER played.

Otogi 2 is perhaps the best thing ever. Everything is destructible, graphics are awesome, great controls and its cheap.

I'd strongly recommend Riddick, but it's on PC now and is single player only.

Halo 2 has great multiplayer, but mediocre single player.

Halo 2's single player isn't that bad. I love it. Of course, my opinion probably holds little weight since I'm something of a fanboy of the game.
