Free ones? Just curious which one you all think is best. Need word processor and "Money" equivalent mostly. Even individual tools for my needs would be great. Recommend me stuff NOW! kthx :)

kinda runs slow though unless you have a decent machine

OpenOffice.org Beta 2. I don't know if there's a Money equivalent, but everything else is there.

I like open office. Great bargain at the price of free! Plus it'll work most of your MS Office files.

Regarding Money, I would just watch sales ads. You should be able to pick up one of the basic Money or Quicken programs for next to nothing after a rebate or something.

AbiWord is a good word processor that has nearly all the features of MSWord.

Only problem is it corrupts larger files. Other than that, it's good.

I never liked abiword very much... openoffice gets my vote.

I'm downloading 2.0 right now to try it out.

OpenOffice is great.
