Single Drain, Lightning Stream JK II

At one point in jedi Knight II a couple reformats ago I don't know if I selected some weird option, or if my game had a brain fart or what, but instead of a wide arc of lightning or Drain at Level 3 it shot a single stream forward at my opponent. It did the same drain and lightning damage, but it used almsot no force power at all. I could almsot do them indefinitely. Does anyone know how to duplicate this? is it some option I'm not aware of or some trick?

Are you sure it was at level 3? It's quite possible you accidently reset it to lvl 1. This often happens when you join a server with low force stars, and it forcibly reduces your lightning level (and it does NOT reset itself when you join a higher-rank server)

If it was that it would have taken up force powers, unless someone was team energizing you or something, hmm.

No, it wasn't set to level 1 because they could be continually cast. it didn't just go for a couple seconds and stop like it would at level one. And this was mostly while playing bots or my brother on lan. There was no one energizing me. Just instead of a huge arc it was one steady lightning or drain stream so it hardly used any force power. It was probably just a weird glitch on that install but, if not and someone knows how to do this that'd be cool.

What about level 2? Doesn't level 2 do that?
