I'm having to face the real world, besides eating and sleeping for the first time in a week. I can't stand the lack of color. I'm missing my armor and I don't have any gold.

What's a person to do...I guess I'll load up another game. Avoid reality at all costs!

This is very, very painful for the Stinkywrix.
This makes him sad.

The patch actually, when I had a chance to play it, was pretty cool.
New toolbars for the win!
I haven't had a chance to raid Dire Maul yet, but probably will when servers come up.

Yea I just go in and played an hour. I love bloom with AA. I love the toolbars. I like the chat bubbles. I like the new ship in menethil bay. I like paying less to train my paladin. I like the patch.

*huggles FFXI servers which rarely if ever go down, and maintenence schedules early in the morning so as not to screw up the day.*

Of course, that's not mentioning the fact that they only do an update once every 2 months or so, and small bug fixes don't even require maintenence (Aka no downtime).

I am. They did an excellent job with Starcraft and Diablo 1.

Diablo 2....well they dropped the ball there, but still.

They've done quite well with WC3 too.

I've always been quite fond of Blizzard, and I think that WoW started off with fewer bugs than most, if not all MMORPG's. I'm quite satisfied with their speedy updates, bug fixes, and new content.

Kirby: What most people don't realize is WoW started off estimating 300,000 people would play at MOST.

They got 600,000 the first day. And it just grew from there.

It's now somewhere around 2-3 MILLION. Good god, let's just say they've done an awesome job at compensation.

Just because you play a MMO as opposed to any other game doesn't mean you have no life. You have no life for about the first two weeks. Once you calm down though I find you can control your playing time much more.
