But I want to be able to get play Jedi Outcast in servers that are not updated but i have the 1.03 or 1.04 (i cant remember) update. I also really dont want to uninstall JO because i would have to move some mod files around etc. The thing is im going to go to a LAN party that is lanning on JO (and a few others) and my bet is people will not have the update. Help?

Simple, just make everyone get the latest version. Save the patch file so they can just get ifrom you at the party if they need to.

Oh, they must want to play JO before it was f***ed by one of the patches. I think 1.04 cleaned up the problems of former patches though.

It shouldn't hard to get everyone updated. Just d/l the patch to a floppy or two (or more) and just get installin'!

Well, this isn't a big deal but make sure with everyone about what patch they are playing.

I wish I had a chance to play some LAN JO. MP was so fun with a small group of people (n <= 16). Right now I can't get enough of 32 person Ut2k4 onslaught.
