Today I checked my e-mail to find some spam..but this is no ORDINARY SPAM!!

It helps it get past spam filters. Basically its the same reason that elite speak was invented in the first place, which was to hide filenames from the FBI's automated search tools.

Most of my spam as of late is either 1337 or spelled wrong. Like "Sekksy bittchz sux c0c"

I don't even go to these kind of sites!!! How do I even get this spam? My inbox gets no spam, but my Bulk Mail overflows with the stuff. It's really weird and just plain wrong.

if you have to post your e-mail address, make a jpg image that has your address and post that using the img tag.

The reason is because the spider tools that spammers use can read plain text but still can't do OCR (and read text in pictures, but humans can)

I'm never gotten a spam message written fully in 1337, but I often get ones that have an "o" replaced with a "0" in the subject line.

I got a forward just today, and apparently Bill Gates was sending everybody $245 per person that they forward the e-mail to. I was surprised, because I haven't received one of those in years. I assumed everyody had finally realized that: a)You can't track forwards, and b) Bill Gates does not have an infinite amount of money to give away to random people on the internet.

The funniest thing is, it was written in ALL CAPS, and the letters were pink.
