Sin City is based on Frank Miller's series of "Sin City" graphic novels. The plotline will include elements from the stories "Sin City," "The Babe Wore Red," and "That Yellow Bastards."

I saw a trailer for this in theaters, I was absolutly STUNNED. It looks amazing. I have a feeling this is going to be one of the best movies of the year.

It looks awesome, plus Quentin Tarantino is involved. I'm really looking forward to seeing it.

He did? And if that's true I'd say that's hardly a reason to look forward to it...look forward to it cause Frank Miller said it was awesome.

Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller are the "official" directors of the film. Rodriguez did the original music for Kill Bill Volume 2 in exchange for Tarantino directing one of the segments of this movie. He did this because Tarantino rips on "digital film making" all the time, and Rodriguez wanted him to give it a chance, and this was the only way he could get him to try it out. Tarantino didn't think digital technology was too amazing in the end.

Anyway, this movie looks AMAZING. As another poster said, probably one of the best movies of the year as far as originality goes. We've never seen anything quite like this.

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Everytime I see the trailer I instantly get a headache. Dunno why... I think it's something to do with the contrast and the moving images. My eyes don't like it.

Frank Miller, the creator, is directing. And Tarantino is a guest director. Plus noir. 'nuff said.

I like scantily clad women with guns.
My fantasy involves my g/f, tomb-raider outfit, 2 nes light-guns, and a whole lot of "Action-adventure"...

But really, the trailer looked ****ing awesome. Even my girlfriend was like "OMG WE HAVE TO SEE THAT".

On a side note, I finally saw the RotS trailer (was waiting to see it until I could see it in the cinema), and it looks pretty intense.

We need a new rule. Never ever mention fantasies involving girlfriends on this forum again.

Unless you post a photo.
