The best Something Awful content, imo, is the spontaneous stuff that comes from the forums. The prepared stuff thats posted on the main page has really decreased in quality lately, IMO.

My mission failed. I almost got the stuff out of the store, but an old lady nailed me in the back of the head with a grapefruit before I got out the door. I woke up from my unconscious slumber the next day in a hospital bed just as a hot nurse was going to give me a spongebath, so while I may have failed, I came out a winner.

I dunno... it was funny, but not as funny as some of the stuff I've seen from the forums. My favorite updates are always the Photoshop Phridays and the Comedy Goldmines.

Look in the Comedy Goldmine Archives for such classics as the Judo Hobo update, or the Bigpeeler Zoo Stories. You wont be dissapointed.

....The only funny part was when he ran into the back of the store. I mean, it was ok, but it could've been done A LOT better. Also, whenever people see someone doing something weird, and then see a cameraman, they wont think it too strange.

You people apparently have no sense of humor. I found it to be hilarious, especially the part where he is going down the aisle and sees an 'enemy', the warning sign goes on and intense music plays, and it's just two old ladies. :D

It was more boring really. When he went behind that counter that was pretty stupid though, he wasn't being funny he was being annoying to a business and shouldn't of gone back there. You could tell the employee was worried about it, that could probably get her in trouble for not stopping him.

Could've been funny like that one video was awhile back of people who did a similar thing except it wasn't for MGS, but it failed horribly. The end was funny, but the guy who was playing Snake needs to be thrown against a wall.
